In this stimulating, one of a kind Personal Coaching Program your son or daughter will learn how to commit study information to memory through the use of simple yet powerful memory techniques.

Designed and delivered personally by Australian Memory Record Holder and founder of Gloo, Chris Lyons, this one to one High School Study Skills Program gives students the knowledge, skills and confidence to study much more effectively and achieve better grades.

Who Delivers The Coaching Program?

All High School Study Skills Coaching Programs are designed and delivered in person by Australian Memory Record Holder Chris Lyons. Over the course of the last 4 years Chris has delivered more than 100 presentations, workshops and coaching programs for high school students showing them how to study more effectively and improve their grades.

Frequently Asked Questions

Before you register for the Gloo Memory Techniques For Students Coaching Program, here are the answers to some commonly-asked questions.

1. How Long Does The Coaching Program Take?

For your convenience, you can choose between two options:

• OPTION A: 2 Week Program. Delivered in x2 two hour sessions one week apart. Ideal for learning in shorter bursts and if you are able to attend for two separate coaching sessions.
  
  

• OPTION B: Half Day Program. Delivered in x1 four hour session, either a morning or an afternoon. Perfect if you want to cover all the material in the shortest possible time and in just one visit.

Half Day Program Discount: As less preparation time is required when the program is done all in one go a $50 discount applies to the Half Day Program option.

2. When And Where Do The Sessions Take Place?

Coaching sessions take place during the daytime on weekdays, Saturdays and selected Sundays. Sessions take place at Gloo HQ in Balmain in Sydney's Inner West which is 5km or 10 minutes from Sydney CBD Google map.

Not in Sydney or prefer not to travel? We can come to you and run this program at your preferred location though this does increase the cost. For more details Contact Us.

3. I'm A Parent And Would Like To Sit In On The Coaching Program. Is This Possible?

Yes and there is no extra charge. Where possible we encourage it as you then also experience first hand the techniques your son or daughter has been shown and you are able to provide additional support afterwards. Plus we know that many parents also benefit from learning how to read faster and remember more!

4. How Much Does The Coaching Program Cost?

The Memory Techniques For Students Coaching Program comprising x2 separate two hour sessions one week apart costs $445 including GST. If the Coaching Program is done in one half day session of 4 hours, less preparation time is required and the cost is $50 lower, $395 including GST.

If you are interested in the program but it is beyond your budget, you can reduce the cost by having your son or daughter take the program with a friend - see the next question. Another option is to consider attending one of our Public Study Skills Courses.

5. Is It Possible To Take This Program With Another Student?

Yes, this Coaching Program can be taken with up to 2 additional students at the same time. Ideal if you have more than one son or daughter or they would benefit from taking the program with a school friend. The cost for each additional student is $200 including GST. So for a Half Day Coaching Program for 2 students together the total cost is $395 + $200 = $595 or just under $300 each - a saving of c$100 per student.

6. We'd Prefer A Public Course. Where And When Are The Next Ones?

Our next Study Skills Public Courses are taking place shortly in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Canberra Study Skills For High School Students 1 Day Public Course.

7. We're Looking For Something Slightly Different

Customised Coaching Programs are also available. Please contact us using the form below for details. Customised programs may cost slightly more to cover additional design and preparation time.
