I want to develop and
maintain my mental
and physical fitness, especially as I grow
older…
It is now widely accepted that your thoughts directly influence your
body and, in turn, your health. The mind-body connection. Some experts
even believe that many physical illnesses are linked to the mind and
how we think.
And if you are concerned about memory loss you are not alone. In
our Memory Survey, 66% of people said that they expected their memory
to
get worse as they get older.
There is now evidence that keeping mentally active
has physical benefits too and may even delay the onset or reduce
the impact of Alzheimer’s
disease - see below.
So how can you keep mentally alert and active?
Simple…train
your brain! Exercise your imagination, actively use more of your natural,
incredible memory potential.
Your memory is like a fine bottle of wine – care
for it and it will improve with age, not decline!

Many people find that their memory gets
worse as they age. But if used properly, your memory can actually improve, instead of decline, as you get older.
And to prove it, we've been working with students from The University of the Third Age.
Here's what a few of
them had to say...
"I enjoyed your presentation. I keep your handouts in a plastic sleeve near where I have my meals and
refer to them frequently so that I don't forget to use your techniques. THANK YOU!"
-- Denise
"An eye-opener! Very informative and enjoyable. Thank you."
-- Fen
"I found the session very interesting. The most useful learning for me was the 'awareness' part which I will
use immediately."
-- Dika
"An excellent and informative programme - thanks!"
-- Tom
